Field Service Technician - Thermal Fluid Heating Systems

Location: Fully Remote | Initial training in Marietta, GA for approximately 2 weeks
Pay: $40/hour + overtime

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with a strong background in thermal fluid heating systems and process heating equipment . The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on field service experience and strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission, start up, and troubleshoot thermal fluid heating equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and field service on existing systems.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) prior to equipment shipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.
• Complete detailed service reports, maintenance records, and job documentation.
• Provide technical support to customers both onsite and remotely.
• Identify and support opportunities for spare parts, service, and retrofit sales.
• Assist with customer training and, when needed, training of new service personnel.
• Travel to customer facilities for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service experience with process heating or industrial heating equipment.
• Prior experience with thermal fluid heating systems strongly preferred .
• Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Practical understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics .
• Experience using electrical testing equipment, analyzers, and other field-service tools.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex industrial equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to write clear and accurate service reports.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel extensively, potentially up to 80% during busy periods.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport for occasional international travel.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Comfortable working around industrial equipment and machinery.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in industrial environments.
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime when required.
